I. Budget Discussion
Council met “as a whole” to discuss budget. In attendance were Mr. Vonderhaar, Mr. Schaefer, Mr. Albrinck, Ms. Hartman, Mr. Ranz, Mr. Lohmeier, Mayor Apking, and Jack Cameron. Only change made to the budge was adding $200,000 for an emergency fund. The discussion on employee raises concerned whether to give a straight 3% raise or whether to give a 2% raise plus the $850.00 bonus (like we did in 2011). The votes for 3% were Mr. Schaefer, Ms. Hartman, and Mr. Ranz. Mr. Albrinck, Mr. Lohmeier and Mr. Vonderhaar voted for 2% plus the bonus. Mayor Apking broke the tie in favor of the 3% raise.
Meeting was adjourned so council could go into committee meetings.
